CEO

Mr.Murtaza Ahmed Ali is the CEO of Allied Rental Modaraba. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) having completed his chartered accountancy from M/s A.F.Ferguson & Co. a member firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers network in 1989 and a qualified Cost & Management Accountant. He joined a french multinational Group, Rhone Poulenc, as an Internal Auditor and rose to the position of Director Sales and Operations for Agro Chemical Business in Pakistan. He has got over 25 years of financial and business management experience of working in different industries.

Thereafter, he joined the Allied Group, the dealers for CATERPILLAR, USA in Pakistan. At Allied, his energies were fully devoted to developing the Rental Business, first under a Private Limited Company and then floated Allied Rental Modaraba (ARM) in 2007 with a capital of Rs.300 million. Today ARM is part of KSE-100 Index with market capitalization of over Rs.4 billion and Sales of > Rs 2 billion. The Modaraba under his leadership has progressed steadily since its floatation. Mr. Murtaza has also served as Vice Chairman and later as Chairman of the NBFI and Modaraba Association of Pakistan.

He is a certified Director having completed Directors training program under the revised Code of Corporate Governance 2012 from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).

Non – Executive Director

Mr. Khwaja Ahad Rahman is the Director at Allied Engineering Management Company (Pvt) Limited, the Management Company of Allied Rental Modaraba. He completed his Bachelor in Science from the University of Leeds in 2009. He joined Allied Engineering & Services (Pvt) Limited in 2009 as Sales Engineer.

He is the Executive Director of the following Companies:

·    Allied Material (Pvt) Ltd

He is also the Non Executive Director of the following Companies:

·    Allied Commercial Enterprise (Pvt) Ltd
·    Allied Foods (Pvt) Ltd

He is a certified Director having completed Directors training program under the revised Code of Corporate Governance 2012 from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance.

Chairman

Syed Feisal Ali qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (ICAEW) in 1984. He has worked as the Director Finance with Pakistan Herald Publications Limited, publishers of Dawn newspaper and Herald from 1991 to 1994.He joint Allied Group as GM Finance at Allied Engineering & Services (Pvt) Limited and rose to his present position of Managing Director of Allied Engineering & Service (Pvt) Limited. He has over 30 years experience in the field of Finance and Business Management. He is presently the non executive Director at Allied Engineering Management Company (Private) Limited, the management Company of Allied Rental Modaraba.

He is a certified Director having completed Directors training program under the revised Code of Corporate Governance 2012 from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).

Non – Executive Director

Mr. Abdul Rahim Suriya is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan. He was elected as ICAP President for the year 2009-10. He has also served as an elected member of the Council of ICAP from 1997 to 2013. He has over 30 years experience in Accounting, Auditing, Corporate Finance and Operational Management. He is a visiting faculty at the IBA, KSBL and NIPA.

Mr. Abdul Rahim Suriya is also a Professional Trainer specially on the subject Finance for Non Finance Executives and Corporate Reporting and has conducted various training programs and workshops both in Pakistan and abroad. He is the Partner of Suriya Nauman Rehan & Co., Chartered Accountants an audit and accounting  firm. Also he is the Independent Director on the board of First UDL Modaraba & Al-Noor Modaraba.

He is a certified Director having completed his Directors training program under the revised Code of Corporate Governance, 2012 from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG).

Non – Executive Director

Mr.Ali Akbar is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) who did his articleship from Deloitte. He joined Allied Engineering & Services (Pvt) Limited in 2002 as Finance Manager and is presently working as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Ali Akbar is also the Non Executive Director at Allied Engineering Management Company (Private) Limited the management Company of Allied Rental Modaraba.

He is a certified Director having completed Directors training program under the revised Code of Corporate Governance 2012 from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).

Non – Executive Director

Mr.Hassan Shahzad Abidi is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).He has worked as the Manager Finance at Rhone Poulenc Group, a French multinational engaged in manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceutical products.

Subsequently he joined Allied Precision Engineering Products (Pvt) Ltd as GM Finance and Administration and rose to his present position of its Chief Executive Officer. Presently he is non executive Director at Allied Engineering Management Company (Private) Limited, the management Company of Allied Rental Modaraba.

He is a certified Director having completed Directors training program under the revised Code of Corporate Governance 2012 from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).

Non – Executive Director

Mrs. Saira Nasir is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and Institute of Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan. She has also served as Director Education and Training from 2003-2009. She has over 30 years of experience in Accounting, Auditing, Finance and Corporate Governance.

Mrs. Saira Nasir has recorded many professional achievements during her career. She has prepared a case study- Disclosure Requirements on Corporate Governance – Pakistan, and presented the same in the 24th session of ISAR, held in Geneva in October 2009, under the auspices of United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). She has carried out special assignments, relating to Corporate Governance; including Board Performance Evaluations and Director Orientation Programs. In addition, she has been actively involved in conducting various trainings, consultations, workshops, seminars, webinars, podcasts related to innovation in general and E-Learning in particular, to coaches, trainers, teachers, students and other audience. She has also played an important role in establishing various learning centers enabled by E-Learning technologies.

She is a certified Director also serving as an Independent Director on the board of Power Cement Limited & Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited.
